See the Newcastle Now Restoration Project of Cottages 2 & 3 Stage 1. More than just restoring the building, this project helped restore lives by incorporating a work-for-the-dole scheme and skills program with Corrective Services. Through this project past offenders have increased their employability and taken pride in working on such an iconic location.

Watch the change from uninhabitable buildings to a beautiful restoration and hear from some of the people involved in the project. We’re pretty chuffed to have helped document this unique part of history on Nobby’s Headland.

Anzac Memorial Walk

In 2015, people experienced Anzac Day along the Newcastle Anzac Memorial Walk for the very first time. This video is proudly dedicated to all who served and are serving from Newcastle and the Hunter.

Newcastle Reservoir Number 1, situated on the corner of Tyrrell and Brown Streets, built in 1882 was the first water reservoir in the Hunter. This video enables those who may not be able to be there physically to experience this unique historical asset of our great city.
